About the Author

Maggie Downs is a writer, an adventurer, and the author of Braver Than You Think: Around the World on the Trip of My (Mother’s) Lifetime, a book about how she quit her job and spent one year backpacking solo around the world to complete her mom’s bucket list. She lives with her family in Palm Springs, California.
