I love children; as mother to seven children I suppose that is fairly obvious. Sharing stories with my children, when they were little, was one of my favourite things. Books that my daughters particularly enjoyed were "My Naughty Little Sister" and "Milly Molly Mandy," so these books were a key inspiration. I wanted to write a book celebrating and just enjoying the incidents that make up a child's life and I have to admit Annabelle in particular was based on one of my daughters.
