About the Author

Laura Blodgett began learning Mandarin Chinese at the age of 47, when she lived in Taiwan for a short while. Upon returning to the US, she was able to find a native speaking Chinese language tutor, who grew up in Taiwan, and who enjoys helping Laura continue to learn Chinese and have fun with projects like writing this book.
