This is Robert Smith'S fourth excursion in to authoring. He is a graduate of Washington High in Massillon, Ohio. After a three year stint in the army he found work in the steel industry. He worked his way up to cost estimator but was restless with the nine to five in an office. He was, by the Grace of God and help from his Father-in-law, able to acquire a fifty-seven acre valley with an eight acre lake on it's floor. He turned it into Hidden Valley Lake Recreational Park, in Paris, Ohio. Eleven years later he sold it and joined a good friend in an auto salvage recycling operation in Stuart, Florida. In the following twenty-three years he also purchased an air compressor sales and service company and started a miscellanious metals recycling facility. At sixty-five he sold the businesses and retired to Brooksville on the west coast of Florida fifty miles north of the Tampa/Sarasota area where his two children had settled. Retired and tired of being retired he turned to his hobby of glass etching and has completed twenty-six commercial projects in Florida. At seventy-three years old in an effort to keep an old man out of bars and off the streets, he turned to his computer and began to put his words to paper. That endeavor has turned into three published books. (www.my-books-4-u.com. During that time he became the care giver of the love of his life who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. With a desire to still be a partisipant in societyand to Pay-It-Back for the many blessings he has received in his life, he launched two afilliate shopping websites. (www.items-u-need.com and www.ink-4-printers.net) He uses the commissions from the sites to support organizations who help families in need.
