this weighty handbook which is designed to be a state-of-the-art
reference work for the industry in the 21st century. Editors
Wai-Fah Chen and Lian Duan have invited contributions from bridge
engineers around the world, and the list of authors reads like a
'who's who' of structural engineering."

"…first handbook dedicated to bridge engineering…others cover some
of the same ground but not in the breadth and scope of this
handbook…any academic or technical library supporting an
engineering department should have this handbook."
