Promotional Information

CCSP CSI Exam Certification Guide (CCSP Self-Study) is designed for IT and security professionals who are pursuing the Cisco CCSP security certification track and preparing to take the CSI 642-541 exam. The book arms readers with an effective tool to build their confidence, provide practice, offer self-assessment of their knowledge, and point out any potential trouble spots in the exam. Each chapter utilizes all the necessary components to help a reader prepare for the exam, including "Do I Know this Already" quizzes that assess knowledge; Foundation Summary sections that highlight essential concepts; exam topic lists for easy reference; and end-of-chapter review questions to aid retention. The final chapter in the book contains scenarios to help readers prepare for the exam. In addition to an introduction to security topics, the security wheel, and the SAFE philosophy, the book discusses each piece of a network as a security target, addresses secure management and reporting, and covers Cisco's complete line of security products. It covers SAFE devices, network design alternatives, and migration paths. It also covers topics recently added to the exam: security design as it relates to IP telephony, wireless, enterprise networks, and the Cisco Security Agent.
