This book is very light on for meaningful information and covers too many stages of development to provide anything meaningful. It over simplifies all the issues that a parent would want to know and provides no meaningful assessment of the different theories that exist. The content could easily fit on the back of a postcard so is not one of the 'Dummies' series' finest moments
