About the Author

Series editor and author Dean Roberts is co-author of Complete English as Second Language for Cambridge IGCSE (2014) and Essential First Language English for Cambridge IGCSE. He has 15 years' experience of working on English-language projects, managing teams of examiners and moderators, overseas training, and professional development of teachers in English language. Dean has particular examining and training expertise in 11-14 English, and Bilingual education. Tony
Parkinson is an experienced examiner, with expertise in assessing English from age 11-16. Tony has over 20 years of experience as a teacher trainer for English. He also co-wrote Essential First
