About the Author

Carl Washington is a first time author from the Jeff Vander Lou neighborhood of St. Louis. Growing up in the crack era taught him many things one of which was selling drugs and gang banging. After spending nearly a fourth of his life in state and federal prisons then seeing two childhood friends killed in the streets he sat put to change his life. First starting his own company Nothing to lose youth foundation then publishing a semi- autobiography about events and escapades that led to his final conviction.
