About the Author

Dick Hertz, the author of The Ex-Wife Joke Book, sure knows what hell is. After all, he was married for six months. He was going to call the book about his divorce Free Willy, but the title was already taken.

Dick Hertz was raised in the jungle by wolves, which is why he howls every time someone mentions his ex-wife's name. In college, he majored in journalism but never kept a journal. He took an art class and liked Lautrec (but he was too loose). He still likes the idea of having a wife in the abstract, but most days he prefers her to be in the concrete.
