Hugh Allan is a retired scientist. He and his family have travelled extensively around Australia and the world, including the Antarctic Peninsula. Hugh is an active member of Australian Bush Poets Association; the Fellowship of Australian Writers Queensland and an associate member of the Australian Society of Authors. He has had over forty poems and articles published in various magazines. He is known as a passionate author and supporter of all elements in writing.
