The author was caregiver to his mother and his wife, both of whom succumbed to cancer in Europe and North America, respectively. His experience gave him cause to investigate and research current cancer treatments, which is highlighted by his wife's case history, and explore cancer immunotherapy that holds the promise of providing a cure.
