About the Author

Ian Brodie is an award-winning photographer. His love of his native New Zealand, film, travel, photography and vintage combat aircraft have combined to produce some remarkable books and images including bestselling The Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook and The Hobbit Motion Picture Trilogy Location Guidebook. Ian was media and communications manager for Hobbiton Movie Set Tours, and was the founding director of the New Zealand Fighter Pilots Museum in Wanaka. He is currently director of Ian Brodie Consulting, which concentrates on film tourism work.

This book is great I loved to truely see the locations that mad the movie the real was it was. The movie was great and the locations were beautiful. As a kiwi it makes me proud to see varoius locations I have passed by in such a great set of movies. This is a great book for someone who is a great fan of the movies
