If you are scared about childbirth, or people try to scare you with horror stories while you are pregnant, then this is the book for you. The language is a little less "hippy" than Ina's Spiritual Midwifery and covers a lot of the same topics and stories. The book helps to reinforce that while every experience of pregnancy/birth may be different - different is normal!

Extremely grateful to have found this book. It had given me massive confidence in the ability of my body to give birth - just as it was designed and built to do! Half of the book comprises various birth stories and the other half provides very valuable information on the whole labour/birth process. If you're keen for a natural birth, this is the book for you!
