After lazing about on the beaches and in the bars of Hong Kong, it was a bit of a shock to find out they were now expected to work for a living. But what was Billy up to? What secret was he hiding? The crudeness of soldier's speech and behaviour is a well known fact and is represented in this novel, which contains details of a sexual nature and very strong language. Readers likely to find such representation disturbing or distasteful are warned.
