About the Author

Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoi (Leo Tolstoy) (1828-1910), was a Russian author and moral philosopher. Tolstoy is regarded as one of the world's greatest writers and is perhaps best known for his novels War and Peace and Anna Karenina.
