K. Patrick Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical languages and literature from Loretto Heights College (Regis University) in Denver, CO; a Master of Arts degree from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA in educational technology; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education with an emphasis on Educational Psychology from the University of California at Riverside, CA. He has been a classroom teacher at the elementary, secondary and university levels, a high school assistant principal (worse job in the world), elementary principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He was co-founder and the first President (volunteer position) of Pioneer University, a wonderful experimental program of education for teachers and educators that unfortunately had more enthusiasm than money and slipped quietly into the desert sands.
