About the Author

Peg Willis is a native of the Pacific Northwest. She has written "Building the Columbia River Highway: They Said It Couldn't Be Done," the story of the nation's first scenic highway; and "Rise Above," a novel set in the context of the Great Heppner Flood of 1903. Peg has taught reading and music for many years.
