About the Author

Holly Webb is the author of Dog Magic, Cat Magic, and Lost in the Snow. She has always loved animals and owns two very spoiled cats. They haven't said a word to her yet, but she's always listening, just in case! She lives in England. Roslyn Oades is a creative all-rounder: voice artist, performer, award-winning playwright, director and occasional muppet operator. As a voice artist she particularly enjoys character work and her diverse array of cartoon voices – from plucky kids to evil villains – can be heard on many of Australia’s best-known TV series for children including: Tracey McBean, Bananas in Pyjamas, Kitty is Not a Cat, Dogstar, Zigby, Sherazade: The Untold Stories, Sea Princesses, Bambaloo, ZuZu & the Supernuffs, Kangaroo Creek Gang and Toybox.

'Narrator Roslyn Oades impressively presents a range of voices as she depicts an exciting sleepover for a group of young students. Listeners join the museum kittens, who guard the site at night, when they tackle naughty pupils and devious rats. The kittens – Boris, Tasha, and Peter – enjoy the kids, and kitten Bianca is enchanted by them. The action escalates when Bianca is trapped by the rats, and the other kittens think she's left with the students. Oades beautifully differentiates each adorable kitten's voice as they worry about their missing sister. Young listeners will be intrigued by the resourceful kittens after the rats mislead them into joining the kids on the school bus. The lively conclusion provides a worthwhile lesson for the kittens, and listeners.'
