Being a preteen is rotten. When you're a zombie, it's even worse. It takes more than one bite to learn beauty is at the core.

Sarah is breath-takingly beautiful. But when her birthday mirror swallows her into an unknown dimension, she'll have to use more than her looks to escape the Underworld. With frequent run-ins with the undertaker Mr. Death, paralyzing brain-freezes, and seven chatty worms living in her head, Sarah's pretty sure that being a brain-craving zombie requires way too much dead-ication.

With friendships forming, fun events planned, and a crush with Hunter blossoming, Sarah needs to curb her sudden craving for brains. Of corpse, it might be too late to disguise her decaying flesh before her friends learn the truth. After strange occurrences leave Sarah feeling as though she's being followed, she wonders if she's returned from the Underworld with more than just her worms. And with news that Cindy and Scarlet have gone missing, Sarah has a sneaking suspicion of who might be responsible.
