About the Author

Barbara Celeste McCloskey lives in Southeastern Wisconsin with her family. Her background includes a long career in marketing communications, and she has enjoyed teaching others to write since college. She holds a BA in English and Communication from the University of Wisconsin. Her story-telling brings a voice to women of the World War II era when their men were off fighting, and the women were left to their own devices.
