Gwen Neiman was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Women's College of the University of North Carolina. While artistic and cultural endeavors claim her heart, so do Myles and Sophie, real-life BFFFs she met during weekend family visits to a farm in Michigan. The two taught her city children kindness and respect. Birds of a feather don't have to always flock together! Gwen and her cat now live in Chicago. A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, this is her first children's book. Anna Currey grew up in Ireland surrounded by cows, sheep, geese, pigs, hens, and ponies. She's been drawing animals since she can remember and has illustrated many children's books from a studio that overlooks the lovely stream on her farm. She lives in Wiltshire, England, with her husband Robert. Anna is represented by Shannon Associates.
