You Are Not Alone is a book of hope and contains a series of meditations based on scripture that were written for parents of children with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). While intended for that specific audience, the message is also useful for all who find themselves in difficult relationships.
Based on experiences of her own, the author wrote the book as a way of healing and offering hope to those who find themselves in a uniquely difficult relationship. This book is not a self-help book. It instead points the reader to seeking help from God - the most reliable healer in the Universe.

The strong words and imagery will hit home to all those who have opened their doors and hearts to RAD children and found the experience to be like "chewing broken glass." This little book is a tool that can lead to the healing you crave in many areas of life even if you have never heard of or experienced RAD. It is real and authentic and I found myself in every page. We all have battles, sometimes of epic proportions. You're probably in one now and the really, really good news is the means to win yours is closer than you think. Danyelle Daniels, San Antonio, TX I opened it, thinking I was going to read a chapter or two. I couldn't put it down. I read the whole thing. It is absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to share it with everyone I know. Jennifer Requena, Converse, TX Just reading the introduction really made me think. I've read many books, some of them about kids that had RAD, and the stories we're scary and broke your heart. As I said, reading the introduction really made me think about how strong and brave you are, how amazing you and your husband are, and how God has put your children in your life. I don't know what it is, but as I'm writing this I'm crying. The book is beautiful Kate, and I really believe that God is speaking through you. It has truly touched my heart. Rae Downen, San Antonio, TX
