This is the untold story of Coco Chanel. Shirley MacLaine is perfectly cast as one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th Century. MacLaine secured a 2009 Golden Globe Nomination for her stunning performance. Co-starring the iconic Malcolm MacDowell, written by Enrico Medioli and directed by Christian Duguay, this epic mini-series is captivating.

Propelled by the shame of her humble beginnings in an orphanage. Coco burns with the desire to make something of herself. She meets the wealthy Etienne Balson, who whisks her away to his vast country estate. Here, she feels simultaneously inspired by the beauty that surrounds her and stifled by the constrictions of fashionable society at the time.

She then moves to Paris, opens her first shop and falls in love with Boy Capel, an Englishman as defiant, non-conformist and entrepreneurial as she is. Here she overcomes great hardship to build an unprecedented fashion empire in the pursuit of sleekness, simplicity and comfort in women's fashion.

Coco Chanel is now undeniably one of the most enduring and widely loved icons of our time. The pages of glossy magazines worldwide are filled with lavish photo shoots advertising one of history's greatest fashion houses. Her signature scent is one of the world's best-selling perfumes.

This is a powerful story about a pioneering icon. A woman whose spirit, ability, and unparalleled sense of style made her a dazzling success and an enduring influence.
