Belfast, the 1980s. Protestant George (Brian F. O'Byrne) and Catholic Colm (Barry McEvoy) try to overcome their religious differences when they come up with a sure-fire money-making idea. They will get insane wig salesman 'The Scalper' (Billy Connolly) to give them insider information on the wig business and then make it big with their own line of toupees. Unfortunately however, things do not go according to plan.
