Beginning with his classic 'Levee Camp Moan Blues', this 66-track collection comprises all the recordings Alger Texas Alexander made at various sessions in New York, Fort Worth and San Antonio between 1927 and 1934, which were released on the Okeh and Vocalion labels. Also included are two tracks he recorded in 1951 after a career break, which were released on the Freedom label, not long before his death in 1954.
