Pink Floyd guitarist follows the fare-thee-well of the band's 2014 Endless River with Rattle That Lock, his first album in nine years. Recorded at his home studios and produced in conjunction with Phil Manzanera -- the former Roxy Music member who also co-produced 2006's On an Island and its 2008 companion Live in Gdansk -- the album also features lyrics written by novelist Polly Samson (she is also Gilmour's wife) and was preceded by the release of its title track as a single. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
